Xiaomi has announced the Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 smart light in India. The Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 is currently available through crowdfunding for Rs 2,299 post which Xiaomi will sell it for Rs 2,499 in India. The smart lamp will start shipping from December 3 after reaching a funding goal of 2,000.
Just like its LED smart bulb, Xiaomi’s new Smart Bedside Lamp 2 also offers 16 million colours t choose from and supports smart App control.
Users also have different colour temperatures for white light ranging from 1700K to 6500K including candlelight, incandescent, studio lighting, match light and fluorescent. The Smart Bedside Lamp 2 is a 12-watt lamp and offers up to 400 lumens.
The lamp works with smart speakers that support Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Alexa and can be controlled via the Mi Home app on smartphones. The app will allow users to dim the lights, change colour flows and schedule turn on.
Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 comes with touch controls for changing the brightness through slider, colours, modes, turn on/off and completely off. Xiaomi says the smart lamp will offer 11 years of life with six hours of use per day.
The lamp comes with a special optical structure which features professional light mixing technology to add to the decor of the room. There’s a double layer lampshade which offers warm glow during night-time and helps reduce stress, regulate sleep cycles and create ambience.
