Expanding its mobile accessories line up, yesterday Xiaomi launched its new Piston 3 Pro earphones in China. Earlier this week, Xiaomi launched its first sports Bluetooth headset at Rs 1,500.
Piston is Xiaomi's own series of earphones and the Piston 3 Pro is the successor to Piston 2 Pro which was extremely successful because of its value for money proposition.
For technical specifications, the new Piston 3 Pro comes with a 1.25 meter long wire with three in-line controls. The impedance value is 32 Ohms with a frequency range of 20-40KHz.
According to a report, for durability, Xiaomi tested the Piston 3 Pro for about 700 times for quality. Also, complimenting the durability is the beautiful diamond-cut aluminium design and CD pattern engraved into it. For the sound, Xiaomi claims that it has Graphene diaphragm for more soothing and natural sounds.
These new in-ear earphones from Xiaomi comes in at CNY 149 (approx. Rs 1,500) which is the same as above mentioned Mi Sports Bluetooth Headphones.
The original Piston earphones were launched in 2014 in India. However, there has been no information when or if Xiaomi will launch both these headsets in India so we would recommend you to stay tuned on this portal for more updates.
