Apple might have just released its 2016 MacBook Pro lineup, but a leading analyst has predicted a price cut next year, and possibly even support for the 32 GB version.
After, Apple silently increased the prices of MacBook lineup in India. A new report suggests there might be a price drop in just released 2016 MacBook Pro lineup in 2017.
Ming Chi Kuo of KGI securities anticipates that the drop in prices will happen in the second half next year. This, plus the maturing of the USB-C market along with the Touch Bar is when customers will move in greater numbers to the Macbook Pro, according to him.
The refreshed MacBook Pro models next year are likely to come with Coffee Lake CPUs, and continue to use LPDDR3 RAM. The latest MacBook Pro 2016 lineup runs on 6th-generation Intel ‘Skylake’ Core processors.
