Vu has expanded its TV catalogue with the launch of the Vu UltraAndroid TV range of Android TVs. The TVs will run on Android 9.0 Pie with the Google Play Store and will compete against the latest Xiaomi Mi TV 4X series and Motorola Smart TV lineup, both of which were announced earlier this week.
The new Vu UltraAndroid TV will be exclusively available on Amazon India from September 28 for Amazon Prime users. Non-Prime members will have to wait to buy the new Vu TV from September 29. Models and prices of the new range are yet to be announced.
As for the TV itself, the VU UltraAndroid TV will feature a Pure Prism Grade High Brightness Panel with adapter contrast. The TV will run on Android 9.0 Pie with support for the Google Play Store and pre-installed apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar and YouTube which can be accessed through dedicatedHotkeys on the remote.
The Vu UltraAndroid TV is loaded with built-in Bluetooth 5.0 and 8GB of storage space. The TV is equipped with Dolby and DTS Surround Sound and offers inbuilt Google Chrome cast feature for screencasting movies, shows and photos from iOS, Android, Mac or Windows devices. The TVs feature anActiVoice search andpersonalised recommendations for content viewing.

Vu UltraAndroid TVs will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Prime members will be able to buy the new range from September 28 while non-Prime users can purchase the TVs starting from September 29.
