Half a year after launching a 100-inch Smart TV in India for Rs 20 lakhs, Vu has expanded its TV catalogue which the launch of four new Vu Premium Android 4K TVs, starting at Rs 30,999 on Flipkart.
The four new Vu Premium Android 4K TVs are available in screen sizes of 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch and are listed on Vu’s site for MRP of Rs 43,000, Rs 51,000, Rs 59,000 and Rs 1,10,000. However, the same lineup is currently being promoted on Flipkart and the promo page reveals that the lineup will actually start being available at Rs 30,999 for the base 43-inch Vu Premium Android 4K TV. The 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models of the same will be available for purchase through Flipkart at Rs 36,999, Rs 41,999 and Rs 64,999. All variants of the new Vu Premium Android 4K TVs will be available starting today through Flipkart.
Apart from their varying screen sizes, the new Vu Premium Android 4K TVs come with support for 4K, HDR 10-enabled content and equip Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio technologies. The TVs are built with Titanium grey material and an OD22 slim design which minimises visual distraction.
In order to offer 4K resolution, the Vu TVs utilise 4x upscaling, MPEG noise reduction, gamma reduction, adaptive contrast and smooth motion. For sound reproduction, the TVs come with stereo speakers that support Dolby MS12 Audio and Dbx-tv technology.
The TV runs on Android 8.0 Oreo which isn’t that dated and users will have full access to the Google Play Store to download their own content through apps. the interface is also preloaded with Eros Now, Hungama, SonyLIV, ZEE5 and Hotstar apps. The TVs will also be bundled with an ActiVoice Remote which will feature dedicated buttons for launching the Play Store, YouTube and Assistant. Users can use the built-in microphone to give Voice commands to the TV to search and play content and also control connected devices.
The new Vu Premium Android 4K TVs will be available starting today through Flipkart for a starting price of Rs 30,999.
