Vodafone to roll out 4G service in Delhi NCR on Feb 3

The teleco is planning to roll-out 4G services in Mumbai and Bengaluru by March 2016 as well.

Vodafone will roll out its services in Delhi NCR on February 3, the operator announced this today.

Since January 21, the operator is also offering free 4G SIMs for its Delhi NCR subscribers as well. All you have to do is to visit any Vodafone store in the circle and place a request for a 4G SIM. After proper identification process & 4G enabled handset compatibility check, you will receive the new 4G-SIM card.

To activate the card, use your existing Vodafone number to ‘SIMEX ‘ to 55199 (this number will be available on the new card/jacket given to you). You will then receive a response SMS from 55199 with partial SIM number entered. Then send the last 6 digits of the new SIM number to 55199 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS mentioned in the above step

You will receive a success SMS, post which your 4G-Ready SIM will be activated within 5-10 minutes. Subsequently, replace your old SIM in the handset with the new 4G-Ready SIM.

Vodafone has already launched its high speed 4G services in Kerala, Mysuru in Karnataka and in Kolkata. The teleco is planning to roll-out 4G services in Mumbai and Bengaluru by March 2016 as well.
