Vodafone rolls out 4G in Rohtak

Vodafone is using 1800 MHz band for the 4G services.

Vodafone has rolled out services in Rohtak after launching it in other areas in Haryana. The full launch of the Vodafone 4G is expected to happen over the course of next few months. Vodafone has already successfully launched its 4G services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR and Mumbai.

Vodafone claims that the SuperNet 4G is built on the efficient 1800 which will enable customers to access internet via mobile with high speeds. These services can also be availed on devices such as Mi-Fi and other dongles. The company also claims that SuperNet 4G will improve the overall internet experience with customers now will able to download their favourite music, movies and apps in no time and also stream videos without buffering.

To go into more detail, Vodafone 4G in Haryana has been built on a strong fibre backhaul through which it can now offer 2G/3G/4G services across the whole state.

Recently, Vodafone also introduced cheap international plans on 4G in 25 countries including UK, US, UAE, Singapore and Canada being one of the countries. Vodafone is targeting about 1,000 towns in India by the year end for its 4G SuperNet services. The nine circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, UP (E) and West Bengal, together contribute to just under 70% of Vodafone India’s data revenues

Further, customers in Haryana can upgrade to 4G SIMs for free and avail 4G services at price of internet. The actual data packs start from Rs 12 for 45MB. Further, people buying more than 1GB packs will get twice the data allowance and unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone Calls but this offer is limited. You can also get 3 months access to FREE TV, Movies & Videos on VODAFONE PLAY as part of Vodafone 4G subscription.

Other services include instant swap, door step postpaid SIM delivery, 100+ Live TV channels etc.

Talking about Postpaid, Vodafone India also announced ‘Dial a Post Paid’ service exclusive to Vodafone SuperNet post-paid connections in Tamil Nadu circle. Through this service, Vodafone will deliver SIM cards for new post-paid connections at customer’s door step. It eliminates the cumbersome extensive documentation process and long queue for number activation.

To use this service, any user living in Tamil Nadu can give a missed call at 9843198432 and a Vodafone Executive will immediately fix an appointment for the Post Paid connection. Later on the executive will collect the necessary documents from your doorstep and activate the connection as soon as possible.
