Vodafone has now started offering double data benefits on its select prepaid packs in India. The list include prepaid plans like Rs 199 and Rs 399.
Vodafone is offering 1.5GB extra data daily on its Rs 199 prepaid plan. This plan comes with a validity of 28 days and currently if offers unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1.5GB data. Now after double data benefits, the plan will offer additional 1.5GB data per day. So there will be a total of 3GB of data per day and a total of 84GB data for the entire validity period.
The Vodafone Rs 399 plan is now offering 1GB extra data daily. The plan currently ships with 1GB data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS messages per day and it comes with a validity of 84 days. Now after double data benefits, the plan will offer additional 1GB data per day. So, in total, you get 168GB data benefit for 84 days. Both the plans offer free subscription to Vodafone Play content as well.
TelecomTalk was first to report the double data benefits on the two prepaid plans. The report further states the availability in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Chennai, Karnataka, Kerala and Mumbai telecom circles.
Vodafone recently revised its 399 postpaid planwith additional data and other benefits. The planwill now come with 150GB of extra data for six months on top of the 40GB monthly data benefit.The Rs 399 postpaid plan also comes with one year of Vodafone Play subscription worth Rs 499, mobile insurance worth Rs 999 and ZEE5 subscription worth Rs 999. Customers will also get a data rollover option to up to 200GB every billing cycle.
