Vodafone India today announced the launch of its 4G service in Haryana, in the prominent business and residential towns of Karnal and Panipat. 4G services will be rolled out across Haryana over the next few months. The launch in Haryana follows the successful launch of Vodafone 4G services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR and Mumbai.
Vodafone has launched 4G services in1800Mhz Band and subscribers can avail Vodafone Play’s 3-months subscription for free. With Vodafone Play, you can watch TV shows, movies and music on the go. Vodafone also promises international Roaming on 4G across 25 countries.
Vodafone 4G services can be readily accessed from 4G enabled handsets, Mi-Fi and dongles. With this launch, Vodafone is now uniquely positioned to offer in Haryana, 2G/3G/4G services.

As per Vodafone, it will roll out 4G services in UP (E), Gujarat and West Bengal and in 1,000 towns across the country by end of the year. The nine circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, UP (E) and West Bengal, together contribute to just under 70% of Vodafone India’s data revenues, the operator further claimed.

Vodafone’s customers in Haryana can now upgrade to 4G for free. They can get the 4G SIM for free from Vodafone stores. To get door-step delivery of postpaid SIMs you have to contact the call centre or send an SMS <4GSIM > to 199.
The operator claims to offer 4G services at 3G prices with data packs starting from as little as Rs 12 for 45MB of data. Customers buying greater than 1GB packs will also get twice the data allowance and unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone Calls (limited period offer).
Vodafone is offering 4G MiFi devices that supports WiFi connectivity for up to 10 devices. Vodafone subscribers can also check if their SIM / Phone is 4G compatible by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199.
