Vodafone India has announced the launch of a new FRC 496 plan offering unlimited voice calls with 1 GB data per day to its customers. The plan is priced at Rs 496 and is available in the Delhi-NCR region for its prepaid customers only.
Under the FRC 496 plan, one will get unlimited local and STD voice calls, free incoming and outgoing calls on national roaming, and 1 GB 4G data per day for 84 days. This plan counters Reliance Jio’s Rs 459 plan which offers unlimited local and STD voice calls, 1 GB 4G data per day and unlimited SMS for 84 days.
Vodafone has also launched FRC 177 plan for Delhi-NCR region which offers unlimited Local and STD calls and 28GB data at 1GB data per day for 28 days at Rs 177. This is the same plan Vodafone introduced last week for existing customers of Rs 181 and Rs 195. However, it is to be noted that both these plans are applicable only to new Vodafone prepaid users. However, it is not known at the moment if Vodafone is planning to launch these plans in other circles also.
