Vivo Y83, V9, X21, Z10 price slashed in India by upto Rs 4,000

The Vivo V9 now has a new MOP of Rs 18,990, the Vivo Y83 new MOP is Rs 13,990, Vivo X21 new MOP is Rs 31,990 while the Z10 gets a MOP of Rs 13,990.

Chinese phone maker Vivo has reportedly slashed the prices of the Vivo V83, Vivo V9, X21 and Z10 smartphones in India with effect from August 27. The price cut is with respect to the MOP (Market Operating Price) and the devices are now available with a discount of up to Rs 4,000. The new pricing, however, is not yet reflecting the online portals on Amazon, Flipkart and Vivo e-store.

The price cuts have been announced by a Mumbai based retailer- Mahesh Telecom on his twitter handle. The Vivo V9 now has a new MOP of Rs 18,990, the Vivo Y83 new MOP is Rs 13,990, Vivo X21 new MOP is Rs 31,990 while the Z10 gets a MOP of Rs 13,990.

Vivo V9 was launched earlier this year for Rs 22,990 and it received its first price cut for Rs 20,990. And now again after its second price cut, the Vivo V9 is now priced at Rs 18,990. The device comes loaded with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and an expandable memory of 256GB via micro SD card. It has dual rear cameras of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors along with LED flash and a 24-megapixel front camera. The smartphone has Face Unlock and a fingerprint sensor as well and it runs on 8.1 Oreo backed by a 3260mAh battery with support.

Vivo Y83 was launched in India this year for Rs 14,990. Now after a price cut of Rs 1,000, the Vivo Y83 is now available for Rs 13,990. The Vivo Y83 has a 6.22-inch HD+ Display (1520 x 720 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core 2.0GHz processor, it is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB using the micro SD card. It has a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 and LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. Backed up by a 3260mAh battery, it runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Vivo X21 was announced in May this year for Rs 35,990. The smartphone has got a price cut of Rs 4,000 and the smartphone now retails at Rs 31,990. The Vivo X21 is the first phone in India to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It features a 6.28-inch screen (1080 x 2280 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:9, powered by Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with an Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Vivo X21 has a vertical rear dual camera setup with a 12MP and a 5MP sensors. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel front camera and it has a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Vivo Z10 was recently launched in India for Rs 14,990. After a price cut of Rs 1,000, the Vivo Z10 is now priced at Rs 13,990. It comes with 5.99-inch FullView HD display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is backed by a 3225mAh battery. The smartphone features 24-megapixel moonlight selfie camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera with slow motion, PDAF quick focus, aperture f/2.0 and LED flash.
