Vivo has officially started teasing the V27 series smartphones in India. Additionally, the company has put up a microsite on its official website as well as on Flipkart thereby also confirming the availability of the devices on the E-commerce platform. Apart from that, MediaTek has launched a new Helio G-series Processor called Helio G36, which succeeds the Helio G35.
Vivo V27 Series India launch
Vivo has announced that it will soon be launching the V27 series smartphones in India which will be available via Flipkart for purchase. Vivo is teasing the V27 series with the hashtag #TheSpotlightPhone. The brand has also teased the design of the phone via its microsite. It shows the smartphone with a curved display and a rectangular camera module housing three vertically stacked sensors and an LED ring light.
As per the design and other rumours that spread earlier, the Vivo V27 series is a rebadged S16 series which launched in China last year. The new devices in the V27 series could be called Vivo V27, V27 Pro and the V27e. However, Vivo hasn’t confirmed anything officially and we would have to wait until an announcement from the brand comes in.

MediaTek Helio G36 Specifications
The newly unveiled MediaTek Helio G36 is based on TSMC’s 12nm process and comprises of eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz. There is an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU onboard. It supports FHD+ displays with up to 90Hz refresh rate. It supports dual cameras of two 13MP lenses or up to 50MP single sensors along with hardware-based imaging features like bokeh effects, MEMA 3DNR, multi-frame noise reduction, and more. The chip supports up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
The Chipset has MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 Lite gaming technologies. Next, it gets the Resource Management Engine 2.0 which ensures sustained performance with dynamic management of GPU, CPU, and memory whereas the Networking Engine 2.0 enables faster response and better connectivity. Next, MediaTek Helio G36 has dual 4G VoLTE support along with integrated dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS.
