Vivo V17 Pro to sport a dual-front pop-up selfie camera

The smartphone will be a first from the company to feature a dual-selfie pop-up selfie camera.

Vivo is gearing up to launch the successor of its famous, the Vivo V15 Pro smartphone. Dubbed as Vivo V17 Pro, the phone’s live image has been leaked online revealing dual selfie cameras.

Update:Exclusive: Vivo V17 Pro to launch in India in 3rd week of September, has a dual pop-up selfie camera.As per our sources, the company will be launching the Vivo V17 Pro smartphone in the third week of September, most probably around September 20. Company has also started teasing the smartphone through various marketing channels (Social media/Billboards at metro stations) in India.

The leaked image was posted by leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore and it shows that the smartphone will be a first from the company to feature a dual-selfie pop-up selfie camera. The leaked image shows that there are two selfie cameras in the pop-up mechanism, while the third hole might be for LED flash or for placing some sensors. One can also see earpiece on top of the pop-up mechanism.

Previously, The Mobile Indian obtained a live image of the upcoming smartphone. The image shows that the Vivo V17 Pro will be equipped with four cameras at the back panel. This means that the upcoming smartphone will feature six cameras in total. The image also shows that it will be available in two colour options, White and Blue with both sporting a gradient finish.

Earlier, popular Indian reality TV Show Bigg Boss promo showed a glimpse of the Vivo V17 Pro smartphone which will be the official sponsor of the show. In the promo video, celebrity Salman Khan is holding the handset but only the back panel of the smartphone is visible in the video.

Vivo V17 Pro will be the successor of Vivo V15 Pro which was launched with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage for Rs 28,990 and8GB RAM and 128 GB storage for Rs 29,990. After a recent price cut, the 6GB variant now retails at Rs 23,990 while the 8GB variant now comes at Rs 26,990.
