The company has today confirmed that the upcoming Vivo iQOO Neo Snapdragon 855 edition will have 256GB storage UFS 3.0 storage.
Vivo sub-brand iQOO is all set to unleash a new variant of iQOO Neo smartphone on October 24th in China, which is slated to come with Snapdragon 855 SoC. The new Snapdragon 855 edition will succeed the older Vivo iQOO Neo smartphone bearing Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now before the official launch, the full specification has been revealed through TENAA listing. Moreover, the company has confirmed few more details of the upcoming Vivo iQOO Neo Snapdragon 855 edition through a new teaser.
As per TENAA listing, the Vivo iQOO Neo bearing Snapdragon 855 SOC will feature a 6.38-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and will come equipped with 2.842GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset. The phone will have 8GB/6GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the smartphone will have a triple rear camera with 12-megapixel as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel as secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel third sensor. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone will run on Android 9.0 Pie based on FunTouchOS and will get the juices from a 4420mAh (4500mAh) battery with fast charging support. The sensor will include Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor and in-display fingerprint recognition. Further, the smartphone will measure 159.53×75.23×8.13mm and weighs 198.5 grams.
Moreover, the company has confirmed through teasers that the smartphone will have 256GB storage (one of the variant) UFS 3.0 storage.
Earlier, the smartphone (model number -V1936A) was spotted on AnTuTu, Geekbench and 3C certification website. As per Geekbench, the phone scored of 3,516 and 11,262 points on single-core and multi-core tests respectively and smartphone achieved the benchmark score of 477,016 on AnTuTu. As per the 3C certification website, it will come with 33W fast charging technology. Moreover, the new variant iQOO Neo's pre-orders are already started on Vivo China website/various online retails partners and will go on sale on November 1st onwards in China.
As per JD.com, the smartphone will be released in three colour option- Carbon black, Electro-optic violet and Icelandic Aurora. There is one more edition, that has been listed on the e-commerce website, dubbed as National Treasure Edition. Furthermore, as per JD.com, the smartphone confirmed to have 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
