Uber introduces Gift Cards that can be redeemed on rides and Uber Eats

The Gift Cards comes with different value including Rs 500, Rs 1000, Rs 2000, Rs 3000, Rs 5000 and Rs 10,000. The company is also offering GIFT05 promocode for getting Rs 100 cashback on Paytm with the purchase of new Gift Card.

Uber has announced new ‘Gift Cards’ for its customers that can be easily redeemed while booking rides and on Uber Eats. The Gift Cards can be bought from Paytm and Woohoo.

The Gift Cards comes with different value including Rs 500, Rs 1000, Rs 2000, Rs 3000, Rs 5000 and Rs 10,000. The company is also offering GIFT05 promocode for getting Rs 100 cashback on Paytm with the purchase of new Gift Card. In order to redeem an Uber Gift Card, users need to go to the Payments section in the application and then tap on Add Payment Method. There, users will see an option of a Gift card. Enter the code and the amount will be credited to user’s account.

The company has revealed that Qwikcilver will be official issuer for its Gift Cards in India and users can redeem this while booking a cab on Uber or ordering a meal through Uber Eats. However, it is important to note that the Gift Cards comes with a validity of 36 months from the date of its activation and the value will expire once the validity is over.

As for the terms of conditions, the Gift Cards are not applicable in Indian where Uber or Uber Eats is not available. Further, the gift card can be redeemed fully or partially, without any limit on the usage.
