Toshiba Excite 10 SE tablet with Nvidia Tegra 3 announced

The quad-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running 10 inch tablet is priced at Rs 19,250 approximately.

Toshiba has announced a new 10-inch display bearing Excite 10 SE tablet with 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The new Toshiba Excite 10 is merely 10.16mm thin and packs quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor inside. Toshiba Excite 10 also packs stereo speakers and is being offered in WiFi version only for a starting price of $350 (Rs 19,250 approx.) for the 16 model.

Joining the new breed of tablets is the new Toshiba Excite 10 SE tablet with 10-inch AutoBrite touchscreen display. That means by default the tablet supports 720p HD resolution natively. This slim tablet resembles its predecessor Excite tablet but packs more muscle. Toshiba will offer the Excite 10 SE tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running on it. That also brings some pre-installed goodies such as web browser, Voice Search and more apps.

The new Excite 10 SE packs a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor that promises to offer smoother browsing, gaming and HD multimedia experience. Toshiba has packed this hardware of the tablet in a textured Fusion Lattice finish chassis.

At the back lies a 3 camera with auto-focus and is also capable of recording 720p HD videos. There is a front facing camera that touts to be supporting HD videos. By default, this tablet will feature 16 GB on-board storage and there is a micro SD Card slot to add a memory card.

Toshiba has packed stereo speakers with SRS Premium Voice Pro technology to optimise the audio experience while listening to music, video and playing games. The tablet features a port and charges via the same.

Toshiba plans to make the Excite 10 SE for $350 from December 6 onwards in the USA. However, Toshiba has never launched its tablets in India so there is a little chance that it will bring the Excite 10 SE to India either.
