Tata Sky has entered into the Broadband segment in India. The company has started rolling out its broadband internet services in the country in 12 circles.
The company has introduced 1 month, 3, month, 5 month, 9 month and 12-month plans, which offers up to 100Mbps of internet speeds. As of now, the Tata Sky Broadband service is available in Mumbai, Delhi, Thane, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Bhopal, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Mira Bhayandar.
To start with 1-month plans, the company is offering Rs 999, Rs 1,150, Rs 1,500, Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,500 packs with a data speeds of 5Mbps, 10Mbps, 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps respectively. The packs offer unlimited data, though the FUP limit is not known at the moment. Additionally, on the purchase of new service, users will get free WiFi router, though they need to pay Rs 1,200 as installation charges. Further, the brand is 60GB and 125GB per month at a price tag of Rs 999 and Rs 1,250 respectively.
Similarly, 3-month plans come with a price tag of Rs 2997, Rs 3450, Rs 4500, Rs 5400 and Rs 7500 that offers unlimited data with internet speeds of 5Mbps, 10Mbps, 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps respectively. The 5-month plans give you 5Mbps, 10Mbps, 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps of speeds at a price tag of Rs 4,995, Rs 5750, Rs 7500, Rs 9000 and Rs 12500 respectively.
9-month packs come at a price tag of Rs 8,991 for 5Mbps, Rs 10,350 for 10Mbps, Rs 13,500 for 30Mbps, Rs 16200 for 50Mbps and Rs 22,500 for 100Mbps. The company is offering an additional 2 months on the purchase of the above-mentioned plans. Lastly, yearly packs comes with a price tag of Rs 11,988, Rs 13,800, Rs 18,000, Rs 21,600 and Rs 30,000 for 5Mbps, 10Mbps, 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps speeds respectively. The yearly packs come with an additional 3 months extension.
Apart from this, Tata Sky is offering add-on packs as well. The 5GB pack comes with a price of Rs 150, 10GB for Rs 200, Rs 350 for 20GB and Rs 650 for 50GB. The add-on packs, or quota on demand, will only be valid through the validity period of the base pack.
