Sony has launched a 75-inch 4K HDR LED Smart Android TV (Sony KD-75X9500G) in India. The 75-inch Sony Android TV will be available for an asking price of Rs 4,49,990 at major electronic stores and Sony Centre across the country.
The new Sony 75-inch TV will be powered by an X1 Ultimate Picture Processor which will offer 4K HDR viewing with Object-Based Super Resolution and improved Object-Based HDR Remaster. The TV will provide users with up to six times the contrast of conventional LED TVs through Full-Array Local Dimming backlight and X-tended Dynamic Range Pro technology, which balances the light output across the screen, dimming some areas and boosting others.
The 75-inch 4K HDR LED TV from Sony will be equipped with X-Wide Angle technology which will provide users with an ultra-wide- viewing angle and minimal colour change when viewing from the sides. The TV also offers a dedicated Netflix Calibrated Mode which reproduces the picture quality of the content played on Netflix to look better on the TV screen.
In terms of audio, the Sony Android TV offers Acoustic Multi-Audio and Dolby Atmos built-in through the dual 10W speakers which are positioned at the back and below the display. There are two Sound Positioning Tweeters at the back as well.
Sony’s latest Android TV provides users with a handsfree voice search function which is read by the built-in microphone on the TV to execute commands through the Google Assistant.
As for the specifications of the Sony KD-75X9500G, the TV features a 75-inch Direct LED display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the Google Play Store built right onto the TV for download apps. The TV comes with an onboard storage capacity of 16GB. Connectivity options include WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI, RF Input, three USB ports, an ethernet port and a Headphone jack. The TV weighs in at 37.2 kgs and measures at 1674x1036x376 mm.
