Both the speakers will be available for purchase from Sony Centres, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals starting from June 15, 2019.
Sony has today launched two new models in its Extra Bass wireless speaker line up with the launch of SRS-XB32 and SRS-XB22 in India. The SRS-XB32 comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990, while the SRS-XB22 is priced at Rs 7,490. Both the speakers will be available for purchase from Sony Centres, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals starting from June 15, 2019.
The speakers from Sony comes loaded with an IP67 rating making them water and dust resistant. The company claims that the speakers come with the rubber-like coating with washable fabric and it is rustproof and shockproof as well. The SRS-XB32 comes with multi-colour line lighting along with flashing strobe lighting effect. The XB22 cones with single colour line lighting.
The company claims that both the speakers come with support for Google Assistant and Siri voice assistants. The speakers can be controlled using Fiestable app and Sony Music Center application. One can select their favourite playlists, cue the next song, change lighting patterns and sound modes with the application. It also comes with a wireless party chain mode under which one can connect the speakers with up to 100 speakers via Bluetooth.
On the battery front, the XB32 delivers up to 24 hours of playback time and one can even charge his/her smartphone through the portable speaker. The XB22 comes with up to 12 hours of battery backup along with the built-in mic. On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and supports different codes like SBC, AAC, LDAC.
The XB32 will be available in Blue, Black and Red colour options, while the XC22 is available in Black, Blue, Red and Green colour options. The XB32 measures 238 x 84 x 83mm and weighs 900 grams, while the XB22 201 x 72 x 68mm and weighs 540 grams.
