A couple of months after unveiling the Carvaan Go digital audio player for Rs 3,990, Saregama has announced the successor to the original Carvaan Premium with the launch of the Saregama Carvaan 2.0 portable digital audio player in India. The Saregama Carvaan 2.0 will be available for a price of Rs 7,990.
Saregama Carvaan 2.0 comes with 5000 preloaded Hindi songs and over 150 daily updated Wi-Fi stations. The digital audio player offers 4 modes – Saregama, USB/AUX IN, FM/AM and Bluetooth. The catalogue is sorted through Artistes, Specials and Geetmala.
The successor to the original Carvaan comes with WiFi connectivity which means users will be able to connect the Saregama Carvaan 2.0 to their home WiFi network. You can then have access to WiFi-based stations by using the ‘Saregama Carvaan’ app. The Wi-Fi-based stations include content spread across genres like Devotional, Lifestyle, Health & Wellness, Kids, Entertainment, etc.
The Carvaan 2.0 comes with a rechargeable battery that Saregama says will be able to last to up to 5 hours on a full charge. Additional features include a Headphone jack and remote control. The Saregama Carvaan 2.0 will be available in Emerald Green and Classic Black colours for a price of Rs 7,990.
Saregama has also introduced the Carvaan 2.0 Gold which is available for a price of Rs 15,990 on Saregama and Flipkart. The Gold model comes with Harman Kardon-certified speakers and all the features of the Carvaan 2.0. The Saregama Carvaan 2.0 Gold will be available in Rose Gold and Champagne Gold colours.
