Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 might be introduced around the same time as Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 10 in August.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 was recently spotted online in Geekbench benchmarking website. Now as per a new report, the upcoming tablet might go official in August.
As per Galaxyclub.nl, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 might be introduced around the same time as Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 10 in August. The publication has also confirmed that the flagship model will be coming with an S Pen.
As per the GeekBench listing, the Galaxy Tab S5 will be powered by Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor. In addition to the chipset, the Geekbench listing also confirmed that the tablet will feature 6GB of RAM. For the software, the Galaxy Tab S5 will run Android Pie out of the box. In the GeekBench listing, the tablet has scored 3506 points in the single-core and 9788 points in the multi-core test.
The upcoming tablet is believed to be the successor of Galaxy Tab S4 launched in India last year for Rs 57,900. The Galaxy Tab S4 features a 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. For optics, the tablet comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash, while for the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter for video calling.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card slot.
The Galaxy Tab S4 is backed by a 7,300mAh battery along with fast charging support. In the audio department, the Galaxy Tab S4 is equipped with four speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos technology.
