Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro launched with Dex support and rugged body

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is official as a rugged tablet.

At the ongoing IFA 2019 event in Berlin, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab Active Pro. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is official as a rugged tablet. The base variant is priced at €599 which is approx. Rs 47,387 while the variant is priced at €679 (which is approx. Rs 53,697) in Germany, and both will be made available starting 1 October.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a rugged body and it offers dust and water resistance and with a Protective Cover which can survive drops from up to 1.2 meters high.

The tablet features a 10-inch display with 1920 x 1200 and 16:10 aspect ratio. The company has not revealed the complete specifications but it confirmed the support for an S Pen. Further, the tablet offers DeX support.

Samsung DeX offers the possibility to operate the tablet in dual mode, so that the work on the screen can be continued with keyboard and mouse and the touch screen of the mobile device can be used in parallel.

As per a report of SamMobile, Galaxy Tab Active Pro is likely to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will have a microSD card reader, a 7600 battery, and a 1920 x 1200 pixel display.
