Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) receives FCC certification

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) tablet will be the successor of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), which carries the model number SM-T585. The tablet was launched back in the year 2016.

Seems like Samsung is getting ready for the launch of a new tablet soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device with model number SM-T595 has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US. As per reports, the device is none other than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) tablet will be the successor of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), which carries the model number SM-T585. The tablet was launched back in the year 2016.

The FCC document via MySmartprice, however, does not reveal anything about the specifications of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018). As per the FCC listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) will come with a USB port and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band.

The tablet was also spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance website some time back which revealed that it will run Oreo 8.1 out of the box and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac support.

Recently, it was reported that the upcoming Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) and Galaxy Tab S4 would launch in Blackand Grey colour options and they are likely to available in Wi-Fi only and LTE variants. Both the tablets are expected to launch in July or August.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 launched earlier has a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920 X 1200 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, which is paired with 3GB of and 32GB internal storage which can be further boosted to up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The tablet runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a huge 7300 battery.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 boasts an 8-megapixel camera that comes along with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Further, the tablet offers LTE (Model dependent),WiFi, 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and a port. The tablet measures 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 525 grams.
