Samsung is working on the upcoming Galaxy A6 lineup including Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ smartphones. Out of them, Galaxy A6+ smartphone has been spotted on the TENAA certification website with model number SM-A6050 revealing some of its key specs. Earlier in the day, Samsung Galaxy A6 features were confirmed via a leaked training video.
As per the listing, Samsung Galaxy A6+ features a 6-inch AMOLED Display that has 2220 x 1080 Pixel resolution. The handset will have a flat 18.5:9 aspect ratio infinity display. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage and 512GB expandable storage via a micro SD card. The TENAA listing mentions dual rear camera of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel with LED flash. For the front, it is having an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The TENAA images of the Galaxy A6+ reveals that it features a fingerprint reader just below the vertically aligned dual rear cameras.
The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and is fueled by 3500 mAh battery. Connectivity options for the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS. The dimensions of the phone are 160.1 × 75.7 × 7.9 mm and it weighs 191 g. The device is listed in Black and Gray colour options. The phone has Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor as per the listing.
Recently, Samsung Galaxy A6+ was certified by NCC, Taiwan’s certification body. The images on the website revealed the smartphone from the front and back panel. The Samsung Galaxy A6+ was listed with model number Samsung SM-A605G/DS in which the DS stands for the Dual SIM variant. As per NCC, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ will support Dual-Band Wifi with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and will also support LTE networks running on bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 38, and 41.
The Samsung Galaxy A6+ earlier appeared on Geekbench with model number SM-A605G. It received 739 points in single-core test and 3469 points in multi-core test. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. The Galaxy A6+ will feature 4GB of RAM.
