Samsung Galaxy A50 price revealed ahead of global launch

The company has revealed that the smartphone will be available by mid-March in Black, White, Blue and Coral colour options.

Samsung has recently introduced two new smartphones in A-series with the launch of Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. Now, just ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed the price of the Galaxy A50.

As per Samsung Netherland, the Galaxy A50 will come with a price tag of EUR 349, which roughly translate to Rs 28,173. The company has revealed that the smartphone will be available by mid-March in Black, White, Blue and Coral colour options.

However, Samsung is yet to make an official announcement on the Galaxy A50 availability and pricing. The company has recently revealed a teaser of the upcoming Galaxy A-series in India. One could expect it to fall well between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 in the Indian market. Samsung has scheduled a Galaxy M30 event in India, where it could also shed some light on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30.

Recollecting some key specifications, Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9610 with Mali-G72 GPU. The smartphone comes in two variants – 4GB with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, both of which are expandable up to 512GB via micro card. The phone features an in-display Fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup of 25-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel secondary depth-sensing camera with f/2.2 and 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It features a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device runs on 9 Pie and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with fast charging. It measures 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7mm. Connectivity features include Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), 5, + GLONASS, NFC, Type-C.
