Samsung launched the first two smartphones – the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, under its newly launched Galaxy M-series at the end of last month. With the launch of the Galaxy A-series just around the corner, the South Korean company has now confirmed that the third smartphone in the Galaxy M-series – the Galaxy M30 will be unveiled on February 27 at 6 PM.
The news can be confirmed from Samsung India’s official twitter which posted a short clip about when to expect their next smartphone which is the Galaxy M30. Using the hashtag #IM3XPOWERD, the South Korean smartphone giant revealed that the “new Galaxy M30 with 3X power” will be unveiled on February 27 and will be an Amazon India exclusive, thanks to the Amazon logo positioned at the top left side of the clip.

Coming to the price of the Galaxy M30, it’s only sensible that the device being more powerful than the Galaxy M20 and M10, will be pricier as well. The Galaxy M10 and M20 were made available in India for starting prices of Rs 8,990 and Rs 12,990 and an IANS report has revealed that the M30 will thus be available for purchase starting at Rs 14,990.
As was leaked earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will feature a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Infinity V Display with a screen resolution of 2210 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy M30 will be powered by the same Exynos 7904 processor, which is present in the Galaxy M20. The phone will be available in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded via microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will feature a triple-camera setup with a combination of a 13-megapixel lens with f/1.9 aperture, 5-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with f/2.2 Aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For the front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 will be powered by a 5000mAh battery and it could run on Samsung Experience 9.5 UX. Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, GPS, GLONASS and more. The phone measures 159 x 75.1 x 8.4mm and weighs 175 grams. Here’s a device schematic to know what the phone might look like.
