Samsung Galaxy A20e and A40 go official

Galaxy A20e is equipped with dual rear cameras consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary wide-angle lens.

Samsung has launchedGalaxy A20e and Galaxy A40 smartphones along withGalaxy A80 and Galaxy A70 smartphonesthat were unveiled at an event yesterday. Galaxy A40 is now available for purchase for around €250 which is approx. Rs 19,503, but the price and availability of Galaxy A20e has not been announced yet.

The Samsung Galaxy A20e features a 5.8-inch Infinity V display with 720 x 1,560 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop-style notch which Samsung calls Infinity V display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7884 octa-core processor. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB via card. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A20e will be available in Black and White colours.

In the imaging department, the Galaxy A20e is equipped with dual rear cameras consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 and a 5MP secondary wide-angle lens. For the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. The handset packs a 3,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm and a port.

The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a larger 5.9-inch Super with full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 processor. This is clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 and a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. It has For the front, the phone has a 25MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Galaxy A40 runs on Pie with One UI on top. It houses a 3,100 mAh battery with 15W. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a Type C port.
