Samsung Galaxy Gear, which was launched in September and is compatible with only Note 3 and Note 10.1 running Android 4.3, is now compatible with Samsung Galaxy S4, SIII and Note II as these devices are set to get Android 4.3 in coming times.
Meanwhile, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Gear smart watch will also be now compatible with Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3 and Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Gear compatibility update will be issued for these five smartphones starting by end of this month. However, the South Korean giant added that the update schedule for all the eight smartphones will vary by country and carrier.
