State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a new prepaid pack of Rs 269 as Republic Day Offer. The offer will be available from January 26 to January 31 and is available on PAN India basis.
BSNL Rs 269 plan offers its customers 2.6GB of data and it comes with a validity of 26 days. It also offers 2,600 minutes Talk time and 260 SMS messages.
“On the occasion of 70th Republic day celebrations BSNL greets their esteemed customers,” Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, BSNL said in a press statement.
BSNl recently decreased the validity by two days on its Rs 99 prepaid recharge. It also increased the SIM replacement charges for both prepaid and postpaid customers to Rs 100.
Earlier, BSNL introduced Bharat Fiber FTTH service in India. The new service is available in different circles including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Pondicherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal and West Bengal. In order to opt for the FTTH service, users need to pay a security deposit of Rs 500, which is refundable. Users then need to pay a monthly or annual rent of Rs 90 or Rs 1080 respectively. Users opting the service with ADSL WiFi Modem will have to pay a monthly or annual rent of Rs 200 and Rs 1500 respectively.
