Reliance Jio offering unlimited high speed WiFi for free in Mumbai

Devotees visiting Lalbaug Cha Raja, Andheri Cha Raja and Sahyadri Cha Raja pandals will be able to access the WiFi internet services through their mobile devices.

Reliance Jio, which is expected to launch its services by the end of this year, has announced launch of unlimited free WiFi service, Jionet, at select pandals in Mumbai during ongoing Ganesh Utsav. Unlike the free WiFi service of Delhi government at select areas in the national capital, the Jionet service reportedly offers high speed data network and that too without any limit.

“This year, we are privileged to join the festivities by offering ‘Jionet’ high speed WiFi Internet service…as we want visiting devotees to sample the digital ecosystem we are building consisting of high speed data networks,” Reliance Jio said in a press release.

As per the offer, devotees visiting Lalbaug Cha Raja, Andheri Cha Raja and Sahyadri Cha Raja pandals will be able to access the WiFi internet services through their mobile devices during this 11-day long festival.

You just need to scan and select Jionet, fill details in a message that will appear on your device and later enter one-time to start using the WiFi service. However, the system will automatically log the user out after every 30 minutes of inactivity, and the user has to log in again with the same password.
