Reliance Jio has launched a new digital assistant, called Jio Saarthi. Jio Saarthi will be made available inside of the MyJio App and the company claims that the in-app digital assistant is designed to make digital recharges easier for Jio subscribers.
The Jio Saarthi digital assistant aims to make recharge smartphones for those people who haven’t ever made an online recharge. It is to be noted that the feature is only available for those who have never recharged digitally before. So, if you have done an online recharge before, you won’t see Saarthi in MyJio app on your smartphone.
Jio Saarthi will initially be available in Hindi and Englishlanguages but the telco plans to bring Jio Saarthi in 12 more regional languages in the next few months. Jio Saarthi is now available in the MyJio app for both Android and iOS devices.
Jio Saarthi as a digital assistant will guide you through a recharge process. The assistant will talk to you about the step-by-step process to recharge your number and will help users perform various actions like selecting an appropriate plan, adding credit or debit card details, and so on.
The company says that Jio users who have not performed an online recharge till now on the MyJio app will be prompted with this new feature. To use the assistant, users will need to have the latest MyJio app on their smartphones and then click on the Recharge option which is where the digital assistant will be found. Once the users tap on the Jio Saarthi button, they will start receiving voice-based directions for digital recharge.
