Realme X India launch officially confirmed by the company

Realme X will be available for a price of around Rs 18,000 in India.

Realme has today shared a poster on its official Twitter handle announcing that Realme X will be launched in India soon. The company CEO, Madhav Sheth also made similar announcement on Twitter and confirmed the Garlic and Onion special editions.

Recently Sheth also renamed his Twitter name as Madhav X, hinting at the imminent launch of Realme X in India. To recall, Realme launched Realme X and Realme X Youth Edition smartphones in China.

Realme X is priced at Yuan 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,000) for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant, the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at Yuan 1,599 (approx Rs 16,000), while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant is priced at Yuan 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,000).

Madhav Sheth earlier revealed that Realme X will be available for a price of around Rs 18,000 in India. He further revealed that Realme X in India will have different specifications in contrast to the Realme X launched in China.

The company is also likely to launch Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition in India. The special edition comes with a Spiderman theme along with a special case and retail box. It also comes with a premium Spider-Man: Far From Home case that features Spiderman logo at the back panel. It is also loaded with Spiderman-centric theme and wallpaper as well.

To recall, the Realme X features 6.53-inch notch-less that supports full of 1080 x 2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display next-generation light-sensitive screen fingerprint sensor.

Realme X runs on 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 UI and it is backed up by a 3765mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. On the camera front, the phone sports a AI dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, the phone has a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone also comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno and comes with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos for surround sound. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 5, and USB port.
