The GPRS/WAP-enabled phone, can store 500 contacts, and has memory support of up to 8 GB.

“We decided to launch a feature phone that provides our customers access to latest features at reasonable price. This bar phone has all the essential features and the 30-day battery back-up certainly makes it a must-have product for those who want freedom from charging their phones repeatedly. So there could not be a time more appropriate than the Independence Day for launching the phone,” said Chanpreet Singh, managing director, Sunstrike.

The phone has dual facility but offers only 2G connectivity. The highlight of Freedom+ is its 3200 battery which claims to offer 14 hours of talktime or 30 days of standby (interestingly in the product page of Rage India’s website, standby was mentioned as mere 200 hours or about 8 days).
