Honor will be launching Honor 20 series on May 21 in London. Now ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing features of the upcoming phones.
In a Weibo post, the company has shared an image with the text that reads “Fantastic beauty, four photos”. The post has confirmed that the Honor 20 will be featuring quad camera setup on the back panel.
Yesterday, an image was leaked revealing the front and back side of the standard Honor 20 smartphone. The image showed a hole-punch on the top-left corner of the phone. The punch-hole will save the space for the front camera which will be a 32MP imaging unit.
Camera details for the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro were recently leaked online. The Honor 20 will equip a 48MP main camera which will be a Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1.6μm pixel size and 4-in-1 Light fusion technology. The main camera on the Honor 20 will be accompanied by a 16MP super wide angle lens with 117-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture), a 2MP depth assist sensor (1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture) and a 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 1.75μm pixel size.
As per leaks, the Honor 20 will feature a 6.26-inch IPS-LCD display with punch hole design. It offers 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a pixel density of 412ppi. The Honor 20 will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset with at least 6GB RAM, 128 GB of internal flash memory and 3750mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge technology. The device will run on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C and support for virtual 9.1 surround sound. The Honor 20 will be available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colours.
