Pioneer today unveiled its new range of in-car products for 2016-17 including car headunits with advanced smartphone connectivity and few other products. Pioneer claims that these products have been designed after extensive India focused research and offers excellent in-car audio experience.

Pioneer has also introduced Auto in the company’s latest navigation-cum-entertainment systems. Not only this, Apple CarPlay has also been equipped offering best of both the worlds. The interface of these systems are said to be extremely simple for driving. Further as we know, Android Auto enables users to use apps like Whatsapp and Google apps easily in the cars. This system from Pioneer also include a microphone and car speakers to further enhance the Android Auto or Apple CarPlay experience. You also get a built-in equalizer, subwoofer with controls and a sound quality adjustment option for immersive experience.

Moreover, Pioneer has also unveiled a new Advance Remote Control and high speed charging in some of the headunits. Basically, this app enables users to control music and tune audio settings directly via the smartphone through this app. The app also offers a Touch and swipe smart control of the basic car stereo. To be precise, one can charge his phone with upto 1.5A current on the go.

Commenting on the launch, Minoru Ogawa, managing director, Pioneer India Electronics said, “Pioneer is an undisputed leader in aftermarket car entertainment industry in India. At Pioneer we innovate and design our products basis the surveys and feedback from the customers so as to cater to the changing needs of the Indian customers. Our aim is to expand the customer base by spreading awareness for connected features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, AppRadio Mode and removing inhalation concerns and myths related to upgrading the car entertainment system.”

Pioneer claims that the speaker (TS-R6951S) also sports a fully covered grill for protection from dust and other external elements plus it focuses entirely on bass. The Subwoofer (TS-W306R) features higher wattage with 350RMS and VoiceCoil Cooling system. The company also unveiled 3 new amplifiers. However, they come with better and higher wattage and was unveiled at a price of Rs 4,990 and Rs 8,990.
