Panasonic unveils Lumix TZ95 (ZS80), Lumix FZ1000 II cameras

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II comes with a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch MOS sensor with ISO sensitivity of 125–12,800. The bridge camera features a five-axis optical image stabilisation with Level Shots to allow users to stay horizontally stable in the frame. It comes with a fixed Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens.

Japanese electronics brand Panasonic revealed their new line of TV, Lumix Camera, Turntable, Audio systems, Connected Mobility products at the CES 2019 event in Las Vegas last month. A month after that, the company has now announced two new cameras – the Panasonic Lumix TZ95 (Lumix ZS80 in some regions) and the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II for a starting price of $447.99 (approx. Rs 32,000).

Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II comes with a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch MOS sensor with ISO sensitivity of 125–12,800. The bridge camera features a five-axis optical image stabilisation with Level Shots to allow users to stay horizontally stable in the frame. The camera comes with a fixed Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens which is equivalent of a 35mm equivalent and has a zoom capacity of 16x and a range of 25-400mm focal length.

Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II

The Lumix FZ1000 II equips a 2.36-million-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch 1.24-million-dot touchscreen that can be flipped horizontally. The camera is fuelled by a 1,200mAh and can thus be used for clicking 440 shots on a single charge.

The camera features HDMI and for world connectivity and can record videos at 30 fps and videos at 120 fps. It weighs in at approximately 800 grams and features a remote input and microphone.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II can be purchased for an asking price of $897.99 (approx. Rs 64,300).

Panasonic Lumix TZ95 (Lumix ZS80)

Panasonic has also launched the Lumix TZ95 compact camera which is labelled as the Lumix ZS80 in other regions. It features a 20.3-megapixel 1/2.3-inch MOS sensor with a DC Vario-Elmar lens that enables 30x zoom and is an equivalent of 24-720mm f/3.3-6.4 lens. The camera as well as the zoom lens come with Panasonic’s POWER optical image stabilisation and feature the same Level Shot technology as the Lumix FZ1000 II.

Panasonic Lumix TZ95 (Lumix ZS80)

The ISO range of the camera is 80–6,400 and it can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps and features 10 fps continuous shooting. There’s a 2.33-million-dot electronic viewfinder which is accompanied by a 3-inch 1.04-million-dot touchscreen LCD that can be tilted to up to 180 degrees for shooting selfie videos.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ95 (Lumix ZS80) will be available for purchase for an asking price of $447.99 (approx. Rs 32,000).
