CK Birla group firm Orient Electric, which has been in the business for decades, has just upped the stakes with its new range recently. And the change isn't about to stop with the product. Orient's new range of ceiling, standing as well as wall mounted fans, which range between Rs 2,370 to Rs 6,800 have made a big splash, with brand ambassador MS Dhoni leading the charge. The fans are claiming the highest air delivery, minimum vortex noise and feature a new high-glossy premium finish.
Starting with the brands Aero Series, the lineup comes with the Aerocool and the AeroStorm ceiling fans. Launched at a price tag of Rs 5,290 and Rs 5,990, the fans are now available for Rs 5,025 and Rs 5,399 respectively on Orient’s Official website, Amazon India and retail outlets across the nation.
The major highlight of the premium looking ceiling fans are the high air delivery. The company promises that the fans offer air delivery of 300 CMM ( Cubic metre per minute) with minimum air vortex and sound. The fan has a sweep of 1320 mm and it offers 100 percent rust-free blades made of high-grade glass filled compounded ABS which provides strength to the blades, thus making it bend-proof, rust-proof and easy to clean. And of course, a lighter fan.
Next up is Orient’s Wind Pro series, which includes the Wall 80 - wall mounting fan, Stand 70 - standing fan and Table 60 - table fan. Available at a price tag of Rs 2,370, Rs 2,770 and Rs 2,400 respectively, like the Aero series, these smart looking air shifters are selling via the brand’s official website, Amazon India and retail outlets.
The company claims that these fans, designed keeping the exacting demands of consumers in South India, compare well with the standard devices available in the market. The changes in the Wind Pro lineup include 5 propeller blades, instead of 3, which delivers high thrust airflow with the 95 CMM of high air delivery at moderate power consumption. Other than this, the leaves are capable of producing sweep of 400mm at 1300 rpm.
Under the brand’s designer section, you will get the Orient Calisto for Rs 6,800 and available via various offline channels. This one comes with a warm light LED lamp in the centre, which gives it a really unique look. Complimenting the looks is a remote control that ensures you only need your fingers to manage it, wherever you might be sitting in the room.
Available in Antique Copper and Pewter Finish, the ceiling features a reversible motor unit, which not only allows the person to adjust the rotation of the blades but also to reverse the airflow during the summer and winter season and claimed to delivers cold air and warm air respectively. Further, the fan has a sweep 1300 mm and promises 215 CMM of air delivery at 250 RPM.
