Oppo A83 2018, F9 and F9 Pro price slashed in India by upto Rs 2,000

Oppo A83 2018 is now priced at Rs 8,490.

Oppo has reportedly slashed the price of its Oppo A83 2018, F9 and both the variants of F9 Pro smartphones. The smartphones now come at a starting price of Rs 8,490.

As per a tweet by a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the Oppo A83 2018 is now priced at Rs 8,490. To recall, the smartphone was launched in India in October this year at a price tag of Rs 8,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 500.

Oppo F9 was initially launched at Rs 19,990 but the phone received a price cut of Rs 1,000 in October. Now after a further price cut of Rs 2,000, the phone retails at Rs 16,990.

Oppo F9 Pro 64GB variant is now available at a discounted price of Rs 21,990. The phone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 23,990 and thus it has received a price cut of Rs 2,000. Lastly, the 128GB variant of the Oppo F9 Pro comes at a price tag of Rs 23,990 against its original price of Rs 25,990.

The Oppo A83 2018 features a 5.7-inch display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the 2.5GHz octa-core processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. On the software front, the A83 runs 7.1.1 Nougat with company’s own ColorOS 3.2 on top and it has 3180 battery.

Both Oppo F9 Pro and F9 have waterdrop-like display notch. They feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LTPS TFT display. They are powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Mali-G72 GPU. They are is backed up with a 3,500mAh battery and run on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Oppo F9 Pro and F9 comes equipped with dual rear camera setup of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, F9 Pro has a 25-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and technology support while F9 has a 16-megapixel front camera.
