Oppo introduced the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 pro in India in August this year. Now, just ahead of the festive session, the company has reportedly slashed the price of the Oppo F9 in the country.
As per a tweet by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Oppo F9 is now available at a special price of Rs 18,990. To recall, the company launched the smartphone at price tag of Rs 19,990. However, it is important to note that the price is cut is a limited period offer and it will be valid till Dusshera.
Recollecting some key specifications, the Oppo F9 features a similar set of specifications as seen in the Pro version. It comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 Chipset along with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

It is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. For optics, the phone employs a dual-camera setup at the rear with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 Aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed up by a 3500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it features Dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS+GLONASS, a micro USB port and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. For dimensions, it measures 156.7 x 74 x 7.99mm and weighs 169 grams.
