Oppo launched A73 late last year in China for 1699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 16,500. Now seems the company is working an upgrade of the smartphone as a new smartphone which is dubbed as Oppo A73s has been found listed on its the company’s Chinese official website. On the website, the Oppo A73s is listed in Solar Red and Diamond Black colour options.
Designwise, Oppo A73s is identical to Realme 1 which was launched in India recently. As per reports, the smartphone might be the international variant of the Realme 1 smartphone. Realme 1 is priced at Rs 8,990 for 3GB of RAM, 4GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990 while the 6GB variant is priced at Rs 13,990.
A website ePrice reports that the Oppo A73s will be priced TWD 8,990 (approx Rs. 20,000) in Taiwan. Further, the report reveals that the smartphone can be launched officially sometime later this month.
As far as specifications are concerned, Oppo A73s comes packed with the 6-inch display that has FHD+(2160×1080 pixels) resolution with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core chipset. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash in the phone that has f/2.2 lens while for selfies it offers an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone does not have a fingerprint sensor rather it uses a facial recognition feature to unlock the phone.
Oppo A73s is backed up by a 3410 mAh battery which supports fast charging technology. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB using a micro sd card. The device runs the company’s ColorOS 5.0, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. For connectivity, there is dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and OTG support. The Oppo A73 measures 156.5 x 75.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 155 grams. The sensors include Digital Compass, Light, Proximity and Accelerometer.
