OnePlus 7 Pro with pop-up selfie camera, OnePlus 7 launched in India

OnePlus 7 Pro features a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 1440x3120 pixels resolution, 516ppi pixel density, and 90Hz maximum refresh rate.

OnePlus has finally announced the launch of its next-generation of flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, in India. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 48,999 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, Rs 52,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB, and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will be available for purchase from May 17. The OnePlus 7 is priced at Rs 32,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 37,999. The OnePlus 7 will be available in June. The company has also introduced Wireless 2 for Rs 5,990.

Reliance Jio has already announced the Beyond Speed Offer under which users will get instant cashback of Rs Rs 5,400 on the first recharge of Rs 299 plan. Customers will get 36 vouchers worth Rs 150, which can be redeemed on the subsequent recharges of Rs 299. Reliance Jio is also offering additional benefits worth Rs 3,900. Customers will get up to Rs 2,000 or 20 per cent (whichever is lower) when they make a booking on Zoomcar. Users will get Rs 1,550 discount on flight and hotel bookings and a 15 per cent discount on bus booking through EaseMyTrip. Lastly, customers will get a discount of Rs 350 on minimum spends of Rs 1,699 on Chumbak.

OnePlus 7 Pro


The smartphone comes with a curved design both at the front and back panel. It will be available in Nebula Blue, Mirror Black and White colour options.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes loaded with a fullscreen display and it looks a bit similar to the Galaxy S9 with its curved display design. The phone is equipped with a 6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid with 1440×3120 pixels resolution, 516ppi density, 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 800nits brightness and 90Hz maximum refresh rate. It also comes with Blue Light filter and support HDR 10/10+.

For the camera, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be equipped with a triple rear camera set up at the back, with one 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, and OIS, 16-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 and 117 degree field of view, and a third 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 78mm focal length, and a 3x optical zoom. The phone comes loaded with Phase Detection Autofocus, Laser Autofocus, Continuous Autofocus, and a dual LED flash.

For the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 pop-up camera with f/2.0 aperture, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and 1080p video recording support at 30fps. It is also equipped with liquid cooling for heat management. There is stereo speakers with Dolby Atoms and RAM boost feature, which allows apps to open quickly as compared to its predecessors.

The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 along with Adreno 640 GPU. It is available in 8GB RAM/ 12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The device is the first to feature UFS 3.0. The phone runs on 9.0 Pie, which is based on OxygenOS. The phone has a 4000mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 30 (5V/6A). It measure 162.6 x 75.9 x 8.8 mm and will weigh 210 grams.

OnePlus 7

Coming to the regular OnePlus 7, the phone is equipped with a 6.4-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is backed by a 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the phone is backed by a dual-camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. For selfies, it is equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter. The phone is backed by a 3500mAh battery and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The device features an in-display fingerprint sensor and it is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone is also loaded with RAM boost feature, similar to what we have seen in OnePlus 7 Pro.
