Official Man of Steel app arrives exclusively for Nokia Lumia devices

Warner Bros Interactive has released the official Man of Steel application exclusively for the Windows Phone 8 based Nokia Lumia smartphones. Man of Steel is an upcoming movie centered around the DC Comics’ fictional character – Superman. The official App brings variety of interactive and downloadable content through the mobile app interface. The app is available for free and measures about 46 MB worth of storage space.

Superman remains one of the iconic fictional superheroes since decades. The adoration for this Krypton Planet born superhero is visible everywhere across India. Certainly the new Nokia Lumia’s Windows Phone 8 based device owners would like to check out this new app. The new Man of Steel App brings Wallpapers, Videos, Ringtones and even Digital Comic books packed together. However, it is not easy as launching the app and enjoying it. The app comprises of five different challenges that are spread across four different chapters.

On completing each challenge, the player can unlock the wallpapers, videos, ringtones and Superman comics. The app also integrates the Nokia HERE maps that points you at the nearest movie theaters that would be running Man of Steel movie – visible when the movie is about to be released – June 14.

The Man of Steel app also brings a photography contest that requires the users to click any photo and super-impose the Man of Steel imagery on it. Also, the players can destroy objects with superpowers in time-bound manner using the augmented reality view of the app.

The Man of Steel app is available exclusively for the Windows Phone 8 running Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 720, Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 smartphones from the Windows Phone Store.
