Now Vodafone hikes data rates in Delhi-NCR by 47 per cent

Earlier this month Idea Cellular and Bharti Airtel had hiked data tariff in Delhi-NCR.

GSM service provider, Vodafone has hiked data rates in Delhi-NCR by whopping 47 per cent while MTS, a CDMA service provider, raised postpaid tariff by 8 per cent.

As per the revised tariff, Vodafone users will have to pay Rs 1,847 for 10 data that comes with validity of 28 days as compared to Rs 1,255 earlier while 1 GB 3G data pack’s price has been hiked to Rs 297 from Rs 255. The teleco has also increased the price of 1 GB 2G pack to Rs 195 from Rs 175 earlier.

Reportedly, the second-largest mobile operator has also made changes in most prepaid plans and also reduced validity of various packs.

An MTS spokesperson meanwhile confirmed that that company has increased its tariff by 8 per cent for postpaid users.

Earlier this month Idea Cellular had hiked data tariff in Delhi-NCR over 18 per cent while Bharti Airtel increased 3G charges by over 18 per cent for 1GB plans and that of 2G by over 13 per cent.
