Wanted to have a quick chat with your loved ones and tired of failing to sign in to your Skype account? Good News, Skype has today announced a new feature for people using Skype for web through which one can start a conversation without even signing in/signing up into your Skype account.
When you visit www.skype.com, you will see an option to either download Skype or 'Start a Conversation'. Clicking on 'Start a Conversation' will pop up a window asking your Name. Post this you will be greeted with a guest conversation screen with a conversation link on the left side of the window. In order to start a conversation with someone, you will need to send this link to the concerned person. The concerned person can also join the conversation without signing into their Skype account. Note that this link is only valid for 24 hours.
Further, this feature can be used for both one-to-one or group conversations. Interestingly, features like voice and video calling, screen sharing and file sharing is also available. Moreover, one can invite up to 300 people on chat conversations and up to 25 people for voice or video calls.
