Following the photo upload feature that was recently launched by Twitter, Blogger.com has also launched a similar kid of feature but specifically for camera phones.
Now Blogger users can easily post blogs from literally anywhere in the world by simply sending pictures or text to the blogger number (256447) using their cellphone. Once the message is received by Blogger, the same is posted on the blog as a post.
To avail the service, users have to send an MMS or Email with the word ‘REGISTER’ to go@blogger.com following which they will receive the address to their mobile blog or the claim code using which they can link their mobile number to their existing blogs. Else, users can SMS ‘REGISTER’ to 256447 for the same.
Sony Ericsson is making full use of this functionality and is also offering this service as an inbuilt feature for most of its feature and smartphones. By using Sony Ericsson mobile phones, users can easily post a blog in the minimal possible steps as well.
