Ovum, an independent technology and telecom sector analyst, has launched its PocketAnalyst App for Android operating system, which is also available on iPhone. The app delivers latest insight and jargon-busting analysis from Ovum’s global network of 150 analysts.
The new Android release comes with an added ability that enables the user to communicate with Ovum analysts from within the application, which means you will be able to enjoy the services of a virtual team of analysts even while you are travelling.
Commenting on the release, Drian Drury, Ovum’s lead media technology analyst and leader of this project, said, “The Android version of the PocketAnalyst has been developed to provide Ovum’s unrivalled industry knowledge and expertise to the growing number of corporate Android smartphone users who travel regularly.”
The PocketAnalyst’s features also include access to Ovum’s latest published analysis on developments in the telecoms and IT markets, a digest of new market data and forecasts, listings and registration for Ovum’s global events, and a technology glossary that allows users to quickly decipher the language of the technology and telecoms sectors.
The application is free, and works on Android 2.1 version and above.
