Nothing, Carl Pei’s own company has three products under its name and hasn’t even completed a year since the launch of its first smartphone. However, it seems like the brand is ready to launch a sub-brand of its own called ’Particles by XO’ which may first debut in the United States.

According to Kuba Wojciechowski (via 91Mobiles), the sub-brand has been trademarked in the US under a shell company. Further, it’s expected to release in the US market along with other Nothing products. The first product from the Nothing sub-brand Particles by XO is expected to be a pair of earbuds, codenamed B154.

The earbuds from the brand could feature LHDC (Low High-Definition Audio Codec) and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). The renders for the earbuds have also been revealed, suggesting an unusual design which suggests that the sub-brand may follow in the footsteps of its parent brand Nothing. This could mean that it may be planning to focus majorly on design.

While it’s not clear when the Particles by XO TWS earbuds will be released, the launch is expected to take place soon in the US. Furthermore, a recent Tweet by CEO Carl Pei also suggests that the Nothing Phone (1) launch may soon take place in the US. He says that Nothing would be expanding its 13 Open Beta program to US residents with access to Phone (1).

As for the company’s recent launch, the ear (stick), the earbuds performed in an average manner during our review. We feel that nerfing the ear (1) would have been a great idea if the price of the ear (stick) would have been cheaper than its current one. However, if you are the type who has ears to which the ear (stick) suits, only then it is worth looking at.
