Nokia adds Foursquare app to S40 feature phones

The application keeps track of the user's location using GPS or AGPS, and shares data with his friends.

To add more value to its S40 feature phones, Nokia has now added one of its popular social networking applications called Foursquare.

The application keeps track of the user’s location using or AGPS, and shares data with his friends.

Users get badges and earn points by checking into places, so if a user goes to his college more often than his friends, then that user will be tagged as the king of college and will be awarded a badge by the application.

As of now Foursquare is part of the Nokia beta testers labs and will likely soon appear on Ovi Store.

Nokia Symbian S40 users who want to try out this application can download it from Nokia beta labs.
