HMD Global recently launched Nokia 8.1 in India for Rs 26,999. Now the smartphone will go on sale in India today at 1 P.M. on Amazon India and Nokia e-shop.
Nokia 8.1 will also be available in the offline market at Nokia-affiliated retail stores. The smartphone will be available in Blue/ Silver and Iron/ Steel colour options. The launch offers include 10 percent cashback on using HDFC Bank cards, 6-month free screen replacement from Servify, and 1TB additional data by Airtel on eligible plans starting Rs 199.
The smartphone features a glass back and aluminium unibody. It has 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 2.2GHz octa-core Processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 400GB via micro SD card slot.

Nokia 8.1 has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel primary lens with dual-tone LED flash, 1/2.55″ Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, ZEISS optics. For the front, it has a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. For security, the phone has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, Nokia 8.1 has dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Headphone jack. It measures 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm and weight 180 grams.
