New Samsung Galaxy M20 update brings improved charging speed

With the update, the phone remains on Android 8.1 Oreo with the March security patch.

Samsung Galaxy M20 has now started receiving a new update in India that brings improvements to the charging performance. To remind you, the Galaxy M20 boasts a big 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The update being rolled out is about 73MB in size, and it takes the software version to M205FDDU1ASD1.

Apart from the improved charging performance, the update also improves the general stability and performance of the phone, and also fixes a few bugs. However, with the update, the phone remains on 8.1 Oreo with the March security patch.

Samsung Galaxy M20 alongwith Galaxy M10 was launched in India at Rs 12,990 for the 4GB+64GB variant, while the 3GB+32GB variant will cost Rs 10,990. The phone recently went on an open sale on Amazon India and Samsung’s online shop.

Samsung Galaxy M20 comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ infinity-V display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. For the camera, Galaxy M20 sports dual rear camera, with ultra-wide feature. It comes with a 13MP primary rear camera that has F1.9 aperture. The secondary rear camera has a 5MP ultra-wide feature. For the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera. It also has a fingerprint and Face Unlock features.

The Galaxy M20 is powered by Samsung’s latest Exynos 7904 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB and 4GB options. The Samsung Galaxy M20 has 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage options that both are expandable via card (up to 512GB). It is backed up by a 5000 along with atype C port and it runs Samsung Experience 9.5 UX based on Android 8.1Oreo.
